    DISCUSS: “The ten and the two is a lonely sight” means…?

     This will probably sound corny but I have always thought that “the ten and the two” were his hands on the wheel. The sadness in that is that if she was there with him in the car there would be no “two,” because his right hand would be holding the girl’s hand.

    I don’t usually try to understand what any singer would mean to say in a specific song referred to his own personal life.

    I think a song is really good when you can mold it on yourself.
